Tour Details

Day 01: Delhi (arrival): On your arrival at New Delhi international airport, you will be received by our representative and assist to check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 02: Lucknow: At appropriate time you will assist to New Delhi railway station to board the train to Lucknow. On arrival, you will be received and transferred to check-in at your hotel. Remaining day is free to explore on your own – you may explore the city which was abode of the Nawabs of Avadh.

Day 03: Lucknow: During the day enjoy sightseeing tour of city, visit famous Imambaras of Lucknow and explore the old bazaars of the city that reflect great character and tastes. The mouth-watering kababs of Lucknow are worth not to be missed. Stay overnight at Lucknow.

Day 04: Varanasi: After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, check-in at proposed hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Evening enjoy boat ride on river Ganges to witness holy rituals on the Ghats during Ganga Aarti ceremony. A very spiritual experience!

Day 05: Varanasi: Early morning enjoy another boat ride tour on river Ganges to see the morning holy rituals. After breakfast enjoy guided sightseeing tour of major tourist attractions of Varanasi followed by an excursion to Sarnath – where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Evening may take walking tour of the Ghats and narrow back lanes to feel the pulse of this most sacred city of India.

Day 06: Khajuraho:After breakfast check out from your hotel and transferred to domestic airport Varanasi. On arrival at Khajuraho, check in at your hotel. In the evening you may attend the Sound & Light Show (English version) which is recommendable as it makes one drive back in the past when art was worshipped more than anything and when the outstanding temples of Khajuraho were built.

Day 07: Khajuraho: During the day enjoy sightseeing tour of Western Group of temples and Eastern Group of Temples.

Day 08: Orchha: After breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive to Orchha – a virgin historical site picturesquely located by the banks of Betwa River. The place with its beautiful palaces and thematic chambers is still almost un-touristic. After brief leisure visit the Raj Mahal palace, Raj Praveen Mahal Palace, Jehangir palace and the Royal chhattries and also visit Raja Ram temple – the only place where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king.

Day 09: Gwalior (Overnight train): At appropriate time check-out from your hotel and drive to Gwalior. On arrival visit immense Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, Man Mandir palace, Tansen’s tomb etc. Later at appropriate time you will assist to Gwalior railway station to board the overnight train to Indore

Day 10: Mandu: Morning, on arrival at Indore railway station you will be received and transferred to Dhar. On arrival, check in at hotel. Later take excursion to Mandu, visit Mandu Fort & other monuments Hoshang Shah’s tomb, Jami Masjid etc. Evening you may visit Dhar Fort, Bhojashala Mosque etc.
